Leading Online Marketer Lotame Opens U.K. Office
Audience marketing company bullish on growth in European web
LONDON, October 07, 2010 – Lotame, a leading U.S. marketing technology company, announced today that Chris Stark will lead Lotame into U.K. and EU markets as its U.K. Managing Director and first international employee.
Despite a recession that shrank overall advertising in the U.K., online-ad spending rose 5.7% here in 2009, and has continued to grow in 2010. Advertisers and publishers here, though, share the same problem that Lotame has been solving in the U.S.: The need for richer audience segmentation and the capacity to message more effectively to those audiences. With the recent release of Crowd ControlTM, Lotame’s audience data management platform that enables publishers and marketers to better understand and activate audiences for online display advertising, Lotame will partner with supply and demand players alike in order to foster better transparency and marketing excellence across their digital advertising activities.

An experienced online operative, Stark has built and managed teams across all aspects of operations: Sales Ops, Ad Ops, Product Development, and Software Development. Moreover, his recent experience brings a European perspective, as he worked across nine European markets during the last three years under AOL Advertising.
Before devoting himself to the web, Stark consulted for IBM Global Services, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and others. A resident of London, he graduated from Princeton University.
Mr. Stark will begin the first of several appearances in UK-based conferences at the AdMonsters Pub Forum XI in Brighton on Oct 10-12.
